I'm making an altered board book for my PreK students to take home and share with their parents. (They will have to take turns, cause I'm only making one!) This is the cover. I am having a blast with this. Choosing colors and styles that truly appeal to me, myself, and I. :0) What do you think?

Altered Bucket
I couldn't get my hands on any paint cans this weekend and was having "altering" withdrawals, so I tried it on a plastic bucket. It worked!!!
Altered Clothespin from Target
Found this pink jumbo clothespin at Target in the dollar spot. Laid it down and noticed how cute it looked with my Basic Grey Lollipop Shoppe scraps. So I altered it! Now I have to go back and get more of these!

Halloween Treat Can
This is my first paint can using fabric instead of paper, to cover the can. It is soooooooo much easier this way!!! I just used my xacto-knife to cut an x over the handle thingys and then trimmed away the excess. It's also faster than using paper, seems to dry quicker. I finally got to use my zip-e-mate and "friendz" alphabet, aren't the letters cute? I also tried using some eyelash or furry yarn around the edges. It's not finished yet, but I just had to take a pic and share it now. I still have to tie the ribbons on the handle and add the tag. I'm debating whether to add a big pumpkin to the back (wish I had a die-cut for that!). I cut 3 big candy corns for the lid and layered the papers. I think I will be able to get 2 gallon cans from a 1/2 yard of fabric. That's why I didn't use it on the top - wanted to see.
"Wild Thing" paint can paper piecing
This is a gallon paint can with leopard print paper and fuzzy black boa trim. I also made a tag that says "Wild Thing". It was so much fun!!! I hope to sell it on eBay, as soon as I can make myself let it go.
It's not my usual style, but was fun for a change of pace. I had to borrow dd's hot pink furry rug for the pic, just the right touch!

Dh has been digi-scrapping again!!!!
Here are his latest masterpieces! He's been on vacation this week and driving me nuts!!! He doesn't want to "go anywhere". But gets bored, so I put him to work scrapping! These are photos of flowers from his mom's garden. I figured it was only fair that he scrap them, since he takes so many pics of them. I'm undecided whether he's a better photographer or scrapper! What do you think?

Ok, serves me right for being lazy... here's the list again...
I found this list originally at Sticker Stadium.com, I think. But when I went back to confirm that, I couldn't find it, so I'm still not sure. I have reposted pictures of the drawers, for convenience.
ANIMALS: animals, zoo, pets, bugs, marine life
CHILD: baby, child, teen, sports, school, graduation, famous characters (like Sponge Bob & Dora?)
HOLIDAY: holidays, seasons, religion, patriotic
HOME: family, furniture, tools, food, hobbies, clothes, feminine, masculine, retro, nostalgic, technology
NATURE: flowers, garden, trees, rocks, water, outdoors, beach
PARTY: birthday, wedding, love, cameras, musical instruments, theater
SHAPES: abc's, stars, dots, arrows, squares, lines, bows, buttons
TRAVEL: vacations, places, vehicles, ethnic
Personally, I don't use this list as is. I've made adjustments, based on the amount of supplies I have for each theme. You will have to do the same. But at least, this gives you a starting point. Organization is an on-going, never-ending process for me, and probably you as well.
Things that are different in my system:
* I don't have abc's as part of my theme system. They have their own special place. I do have some alphabet stickers in certain drawers. For example, my animal print sticker letters are in the ANIMAL drawer with other zoo stuff.
* I have a whole drawer of school stuff. (between my kids & my teaching photos, I needed a whole drawer!)
* I have a fishing/camping drawer. My husband and son (& sometimes dd) are avid fishermen. And we have tons of camping pics from our "early years".
* I have a drawer for my Basic Grey papers and embellishments & one for my Wild Asparagus.
*I have a drawer just for Christmas. And one with Halloween & Thanksgiving. Also one with Easter & Spring.
So you can see that I started with that list & then made it work for me. I did sort everything according to the list initially. When I realized how much I had for certain themes - I adjusted the labels.

Ooops, I did it again!
I listed another paint can on e-bay! I couldn't stand not knowing if that one would sell, so I listed another one, doubling my chances of success, or failure. What am I doing???? I don't even know what "category" my paint cans go in? I have the pink one in paper piecings, and the chocolate lover's can is under "everything else" or "gift". I don't know what starting price to list, I have .99 on one, and 5.99 on the other. Of course, the chocolate can is a gallon, but still. I am spending .60 cents to list the pink can, it has one bid of .99 cents. If bidding doesn't go up, I have to sell it for that! And make a "profit" of .39 cents, before ebay takes their cut. Now that doesn't include the cost of the can, the paper, the ribbon, the appliques, the modge podge, or my time and effort to make it. I AM AN IDIOT!!!! And I blame the hubby, because I knew I wasn't ready to sell on ebay. He doesn't get the whole, "you gotta buy before you sell to get a good feedback rating and do research, blah, blah, blah". He thinks "hey , no problem, just list it and they will come" Well, I don't see him listing anything he worked on!!! Hmm, I sound a little cranky today, don't I?
Ok, so here's the picture if you wanna see it. Can't seem to link it to ebay... but the name is the same~luzianascrapper. And you can always click on see seller's other items.

Well, hell froze over last night...
I posted my first item for sale on ebay. I'm not sure if I like this. I think most of my stuff is cute. Other people have said they would pay for my stuff. Some people even have. But EBAY??? Scary stuff. 7 days to hold my breath. And I need to list more things so I can boost my numbers and look reliable or whatever. I hope this isn't a mistake. Dh thinks I can make "easy money" just by listing my stuff on ebay, but I gotta say... Oh, heck, I don't know WHAT to say. If anybody actually reads my blog,~ I'll keep you posted.
Here's the ebay link if anyone wants to take a peek. Or at least I think it's a link.

World's Most Beautiful Flower Girl
More K & Co. This time I used "Ashford" paper, sticker strips, and photo corners. Brown cs is Bazzill, Salmon cs is unknown. I think the salmon color looks better than the green color on the previous page, so I may go back and change it.

Page 2
Oh, I FOUND the perfect black letter stickers to finish spelling out Bouquet. It looks awesome. My favorite page in the whole album so far!

2 more pages for the Wedding album for Bil
More blank tags for the couple to do their journaling on.
I made the purse to mimic the one that the bride carried for her "something old".

K's Page
A digi-page for my digi-friend. I did this page for a friend who lives about 5 hours from me. We chat all the time, and would love to get together and scrap. This is the closest I could come. I took these photos she had sent me in an email and made a page for her. Isn't her little girl beautiful?

My new "do"
Got my haircut today. Couldn't figure out what I wanted, but I knew it was too long, too hot, and too much trouble for starting my new job. This is what I ended up with. Whatcha think?
Is that gray hair???? Oh no! 35 years old and I'm
turning into my mother after all! NOT!

The time has come...
This is 2 pages for my bil's wedding album. It's "due" by August 1st!
Please ignore the awful scanning and stitching. The white chunks missing from the middle are not missing in real life. I am leaving some journaling tags and boxes blank here and there throughout the album, so they can add their thoughts and words.

Just Chillin'
My 2nd digital layout. This one is in 12x12 format. I had a little easier time with the "layers" on this one. The photos were just one day when I was messing around with the new digital camera that I received for Mother's Day. So what do you think? Am I still hanging in there with hubby & his "skills"? Or should I secretly practice while he's at work? :0) ~Lorrie

Dh's 3rd digital page
Here's the latest page. Of course, he whipped this out after work tonight and I've been home all day and don't have a page to share. Guess I need to get busy! Be sure you leave a comment for him.

My Hubby's Digital Scrapbook Page
Dh did this in no time at all. Dad-gum-it! I've worked all day trying to do another with no success and much frustration. After showing him some examples on 2 peas, he whips this out. @#$%^@#
Pretty good, huh? Leave a comment for him, if you like it. He'll be impressed. He loves that my blog gets so many hits. :0) What can I say? He's my geek.
1st Digital Scrapbook Page
I thought I would give digital scrapbooking a try. I found a tutorial and followed it step-by-step. This is what I came up with. The mesh and the buttons couldn't be moved around, or I would've adjusted them. I've still got to figure out how to "unlock" a layer. But I was pretty impressed with my first effort, even if it is very simple.

Homerun!
Using Junkitz athlete stars paper, Mambi transparency, Script foam stamps from Creative Imaginations. I think it needs star brads, but I don't have any, so I will just slip it in the page protector for now. Whatcha think? I'm having fun with my foam stamps, finally, now that I use them on transparencies. If I mess up, I can just wipe it off with a baby wipe.

Metal Monogram Letters from Hobby Lobby
A-Z u/c for 9.99 and then half off! I got them in white, but they also had black, silver, and at least two different multi-colored sets.

Mini album on a page
This is a little mini album I did on a page with way too many photos. The proofs weren't all that great and I didn't want to use them all on the page, so I just folded cardstock and made an accordian type album. It was easier than I expected, and something I will do again and again. The only drawback to this, I had to cut a slit in my page protector. I got it in the right place the first time, but I really didn't enjoy doing it that way. It just seemed wrong, cutting into the very thing used to protect my pages. I know, I know, I need to relax.

Batting Practice...
How to hit a softball:
1. Watch what the other girls are doing.
2. Hold the bat up.
3. Swing level.
4. Close your eyes and pray!

Commitment to the Game
This is the 2nd page I've done for Abby's softball album. Scroll down for the cover and 1st page. My first real bottle cap! I'm not sure how I like it. Love the clear definition stickers! I put this one on white because I thought it would show up better than on the busy baseball paper. Abby showed up for every practice and every game. (except the one I MADE her miss - long story there) thus the title: Commitment (is it a title if it's not big and at the top of the page? Hmm, I think so, why not?

Abby's Team Page
Look, I've actually done some scraping! I had a fun with this and it was so easy with my Creative Clips & Fonts from CK. Please excuse the awful scan. I'd give just about anything for a 12" printer/scanner. The baseball paper is not yellowy irl. and that little chunk missing on the lower right corner is from the scanner too. But my new printer does print great photos and embellishments.

My first scrapbook page in weeks...
I've been doing so many altered things, paint cans, clipboards, etc. that I haven't scrapped in ages. My new scrappin' buddy inspired me tonight. She did 6 pages, so I was determined to stay off the mb until I finished one page. Here it is... Abby in her Granny's garden last summer (2004). These photos are gorgeous irl, the scan doesn't begin to do them justice. I searched for a quote about a rose = beauty, until I found this one: " A lovely being, scarcely formed or molded, a rose with all it's sweetest leaves yet folded." by Lord Byron. Journaling reads: "things I love about you...
* your smile
* your laugh
* your beauty
I didn't title it, because well, there was no room left. The spiral clip holding the quote is actually pink irl, don't know why that doesn't show. The pink barette under the photo matted in green, was one of Abby's that I had "saved" since she was a baby. I just thought it went perfectly with this page. Ok, done rambling, here it is...

My dd's first scrapbook page
She's 8 years old. She INKED THE EDGES OF HER STUFF! This child amazes me. Her first page ever and she's inking the edges! She's like those little kids who don't speak until "late" and then they speak in a complete sentence. I can't wait to scrap her scrapping! :0)
Oh, my dd on left, her best friend on right.
My new Scrappin' Buddy and her scrapbook stuff
This is my dd (age 8). She decided today that she wants to do a scrapbook of her and her friends. Here are pics of her stuff and her. I will post pics of her pages, as she finishes them. I am so proud to have found a scrappin' buddy who lives so close! (In the same house!) :0)

My VERY first Paper Bag Album
This is my first and probably won't be my last! It was so much fun and came together much more quickly than I had anticipated. I used Mambi school stick kids as accents and assorted school papers and ribbons. I hope to sell this on Ebay, if I can ever figure out how. Be sure and notice the faux "stitching". I don't sew, won't sew, but like the look so I figured out a way to fake it. This was made with regular size lunch bags, that I had bought many years ago in the party section, thus the school bus yellow color of the bags.
PLEASE TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK OF IT...

Altered Clipboards with Scrapbook Paper & Ribbons
Thought I needed to update some... It's been a while. My latest craze is these altered clipboards. Some don't have the ribbon or tags added yet, but I was afraid I would forget to take a picture.
